Luke Sauls Appointed to the Georgia Self Storage Association Board of Directors

With that in mind, we are proud to announce that Luke Sauls has been appointed to serve on the Georgia Self Storage Association (GASSA) Board of Directors.

Luke’s appointment is more than a professional milestone. It is a reflection of years spent learning the business from the ground up, serving owners long before they ever consider selling, and consistently showing up for the self-storage community across Georgia and the Southeast.

A Career Built on Service, Not Shortcuts

Luke’s connection to self-storage started long before titles or board seats. From early hands-on work at facilities to later involvement in development, ownership, and operations, his experience has always been rooted in understanding what owners actually face day to day. That foundation continues to shape how he serves clients through Sauls Commercial Real Estate, where he is a 50 percent owner and actively involved in brokerage, development, construction, and advisory work.

In an industry that can often feel transactional, Luke has built his practice around relationships and education. He is known for working with owners years in advance of a sale, helping them understand revenue management, expense control, operational efficiencies, and the levers that truly drive value. That long-game mindset aligns directly with GASSA’s mission to educate, advocate, and elevate the self-storage industry statewide.

Growing by Serving the Industry

Serving on the GASSA Board allows Luke to extend that same service mindset beyond individual clients to the broader industry. Through board involvement, he will support:
