We are incredibly proud to celebrate Jane Holland Sauls, President and Co-Founder of Sauls Commercial Real Estate, who has been inducted into the inaugural class of the Georgia Self Storage Association (GASSA) Hall of Fame.
The Georgia Self Storage Hall of Fame was created to honor individuals who have made lasting contributions to the growth, professionalism, and advocacy of the industry in our state. Jane’s selection as one of the very first inductees is a powerful testament to her decades of leadership, innovation, and dedication to excellence.
As Chair of GASSA’s Legislative Committee, Jane has been instrumental in advancing meaningful legislative change—most notably leading the successful effort to pass House Bill 131, which has had a positive and lasting impact for storage owners throughout Georgia. Her voice and advocacy have strengthened the association’s influence and created new opportunities for self-storage professionals statewide.
But Jane’s impact reaches far beyond her professional achievements. Her journey is one defined by resilience, creativity, and a servant’s heart. From farming to accounting, from operating tractor dealerships to developing, constructing, managing, and selling commercial real estate—Jane has done it all. Her experience spans every stage of a project’s life cycle, from land acquisition and design to hands-on construction, management, and brokerage.
Jane is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a published author, and a respected industry educator and speaker. She holds real estate broker licenses in seven states and continues to share her expertise through leadership roles, including serving on the Georgia CCIM Chapter Board, where she is slated to serve as Treasurer in 2026, Vice President in 2027, and President in 2028.
Her career achievements are remarkable—but they only tell part of her story. Jane’s strength and spirit were tested through major health challenges that lasted more than five years. With the support of her family and a team of over 50 physicians, she faced a difficult prognosis with faith and determination, ultimately defying expectations. Her story of perseverance continues to inspire countless others who are facing battles of their own.
COMMITMENT TO GIVING BACK
Beyond her professional and personal triumphs, Jane’s true legacy is her commitment to giving back. Because storage has been good to her, she gives back—working tirelessly to strengthen GASSA and support fellow owners. Because her late sister Carolyn benefited from the Association of Remarkable Citizens (A.R.C.), she gives back—serving as President of the board and securing vital grants to support adults with disabilities. Because her church and community have supported her family, she gives back—through her service at Consolation Baptist Church, and on the Carrollton High School Business Advisory Committee.
Whether she’s negotiating multimillion-dollar deals or operating a D6 dozer, Jane brings the same humility, determination, and grace. She’s known for leaving every person and every place better than she found them — and for doing it all with faith, kindness, and an unmatched work ethic.
To us, Jane is not just a leader in the storage industry — she’s an inspiration, a mentor, and a difference maker.
Congratulations, Jane, on this extraordinary and well-deserved recognition. Your impact on the storage industry, your community, and everyone around you will be felt for generations to come.
